Yes, Steve's is the candlemakers store. The site states that it is used for linen sprays, to use in rug scrubers and any other water based appication. It is listed under Fragrances, Powdered. I sure would like to find out if anyone has used it and how well it works.

What they mean is add up to 2 oz of FO to 1 pound of wax. I am not sure what wax you are using but most of us use 1.5 ozs of FO or less to 1 pound of wax. To make sure you are using the right amounts weigh these on a scale. 1 pound of flakes is the same as 1 pound melted wax. HTH Ree

I use soy and add @175 which helps bind with the wax. I know that you can burn off the FO when adding higher than that.

I haven't tried those but I will tell you if you are ordering fruit scents from ICS then you should try their juicy melons. It is a mix of cantalope, honeydew and watermelon.

I made a candle when I first started that was wicked wrong. I too put it in the cupboard and forgot about it. I burned it over a year later and even though it was wicked wrong in the first place as soon as it started getting a melt pool (not a large or full melt pool it had just started melting wax) it scented my whole basement and then the scent filled my whole house. If I could cure every candle I made for at least a year I would. Talk about running you out of the house scent. It was the best candle I ever burned. -
Wouldn't a wire wisk add air to the wax?

I too use stainless steel spoons like the ones you use to eat with. They are easy to clean with the heat gun.
