SaraScribbles
Make a glittery pillar candle? I have the glitter, but when I add it directly to the wax (did this for containers) it all settles on the top of the candle.I'm interested in making pillars that are glittery on the sides and top.Any thoughts?TIA,Sara
candlesprite7
I would dust the glitter on after you've made the candle and spray it with luster spray or something silimar to hold it together.HTH!

Donita
I am truly the Queen of Glitter. I buy it buy the pound LOL I have it in all colors...I use the micro polyester. This is what I do.....I heat the candle slightly with the heat gun....sprinkle on a little glitter. Then hold the heat gun high above the candle, about 2 feet, and slowly slowly lower the heat gun and watch the glitter start to stick and then quickly take the heat gun away. If you come down to quickly you will blow it off. Practice on a piece of wax or two first so you don't ruin your candle. You don't want to melt the candle either....I have done huge star candles and they looked great. Donita
