smalltownscents
I usually use 4627 but want to make some layered container candles. I have used J223 in the past and it is pretty good but does anyone use Just Scents 123 wax. Any idea how it would be for layered containers? Or any suggestions on a good wax for this? Thanks! AngelaVA
I've tested J223 and 4627, but not the JS123. I have used J50 and J300 for layered containers with no problems. They turn out great. I think J223 would also work for that. The only way to know is to do it, so try it out and see how it works for you. Make sure you let the candle set up a bit before pouring the next layer, but don't let it sit too long to where the wax pulls away from the glass. You want the wax to form a "skin" of sorts so that the next layer doesn't bleed into the first layer. Hope this helps.
