Clurthebur
I'm looking for a paraffin wax blend that doesn't frost up. I've been using the Michael's ArtMinds paraffin wax for pillar candles, and have noticed that after a few months, the candles have started frosting. I've tried a few other paraffin waxes, but really like the opaque-ness of the Michael's brand. Does anybody have any suggestions on other brands that might not have this issue? TallTayl
I’d look at candle specialty retailers, like candle science, candlewic, etc. IGI 4786, 4625, 1239A for example are pretty popular waxes for that application. no idea what manufacturer or wax in specific michaels stores sell. It could vary by delivery and store.
Sarah S
I know that Candlewic sells their "Country Lane" waxes to AC Moore, but I have no idea who supplies the Michaels stores. Try looking at Candlewic's pillar waxes for starters, their CBL line is excellent, and the pricing is much better than the hobby stores.
