debscent Posted August 25, 2005 Share Posted August 25, 2005 I'm speaking as a consumer...I like the lid, because whenever I buy stuff like that and the lid is too smooth, my hands can't grasp the lid well enough and I end up dropping the lid (especially after I'm all lotioned up, etc.). So I think you should keep that lid. Plus anyone with difficulty opening jars (my mom is one), it gives them some grip.
