? about pie making

Wondering where is a good place to start making pies..I would like to learn how to make these pies and donate them to our church pre-school so they can sell them and raise money for play ground equipment.

Wondering where I can get great quaility supplies but not break my pocket since I will be donating these to the church.

Any help would be great.
