lilyfield
What does it mean when you light a candle and it only stays lit for about a minute and then it goes out ? (The flame was struggling from when I lit it)
ChrisR
It could mean several things. The wick is too small, you need a different type of wick, too much FO, or it could be all of them.
Jcandleattic
Everything ChrisR said, also it could have been trimmed too short. Without any additional information it's impossible to make an educated guess. It would help to know which wax, if it's pillar or container/votive, size of candle, type and size of wick. Otherwise it is just conjecture and guess work, and probably not very helpful to you.
GoldieMN
Some on this forum have suggested pulling out a wick and inserting a different one when not getting the results you want. In this case, you could try the same size wick but leave it a bit longer to see if that is the problem. If not, go up a size and see what happens.
