Kelley
I have burned this one for @2 1/2 hours. It is a 3" square pillar. I just got this mold and have not burned a square yet and didn't know how it's supposed to do. It is Peaks preblend mp145 with a 24ply flat braid wick. Scented pomegranate. Scented
Mmm still looks like it has room to go, but don't know that 30 minutes would have made much of a difference. If you have any 27 or 30 FP, try them in another test and see what you think.PS What you have isn't bad, but think you could get a little bigger melt pool on it. RobinInOR
I too would probably try the next higher wick. Even though it was a short burn, the melt pool looks kind of deep while the sides are still thick. Hard to tell on only one, short-ish burn tho. You'll find out more as you burn further down, sometimes the sides will blow out just as you think you've got the perfect wick.
Kelley
Thanks! I will burn it a couple more times and see what it does. I don't want the sides to blow out.
