wgregww Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 So Im just curious about something. Most people introduce the oil at 185 degrees. Do you do the same for a oil that has a flashpoint of say 155? Jcandleattic Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Flashpoint is simply the temperature at which an oil will ignite IF introduced by a spark or flame. It has nothing to do with burning off scent. You would have to keep your wax at a constant high temp for a very long time to burn off any of the scent.
