rctfavr3
Anyone know of or have a fragrance oil that has strong notes of wheat or grain? Any help will be most appreciated. I've tried NG's Whole Wheat Bread it was a straight up dud! Ideas or EO concoctions maybe? Fragrance Finder didn't really find anything. I'll be truly shocked if such a fragrance doesn't exist. Something like "Oatmeal" without the sugar or Bread (that actually smells like wheat bread?) Edited April 6, 2015 by rctfavr3

rctfavr3
hmm? Now I'm wondering if I just got a dud. I'll contact them. It smelled rather weak OOB but did smells somewhat like bread in HT, but not really "wheaty" ya know. I don't know. I'm really just after a strong bread grain smell I think. Have you tried the fresh baked bread from WSP ? Im debating if I should get it. Its on the pricey side but if its good then its totally worth it IMO

It's not overly sweet and actually smells of bread unlike others I've tried. It's not the best I've found but the best is currently elusive because I didn't take note of it at the time. I'm still hunting but WSP is a good one. Edited July 26, 2017 by rctfavr3

rctfavr3
I liked their Dirt FO it's interesting. Their Vanilla Mint is nice. I use it as a blender but it also has a TicTac vibe about it. Hot Pepper is fun to use but I fear it's on closeout. Need to order more of it while I can. Madagascar Black Pepper is another good blender although it is light. Good on it's own. It has as an almost soot-like aroma. You can do a good fall/winter FO renaming Rum caramel truffle. I might put in an order for the Pumpkin Lager. Haven't tried that one but I like the description. Lastly and I really shouldn't share this one but I will... Ripe Tomato. Seriously It's so multi-use it's ridiculous. Instantly adds a freshness to anything. Edited July 26, 2017 by rctfavr3

Not sure if you like these type of scents but the VBN is awesome ! Long after the candle is blown out the scent lingers. The CT isn't super strong IMO but burning is lovely, especially in wax melts. Frasier Fir is also excellent super close to Thymes Frasier Fir. Pineapple Cilantro + Mango Sorbet are so good. The Pink Lemonade I wasn't crazy about but I didn't pit it in wax Im curious to try marshmallow, jelly Donut + Maple Pecan Strudel + Christmas Wreath + others lol. I'll post a review at least OOB when I get them. I forgot to add Vanilla Hazelnut is so good + I'm not a floral person but I do like Peony. glasllyn
I think it's BCN that has Sweetgrass and New Mown Hay. I guess when you say "wheat" I think of in the fields. If you mean bread, I'd definitely try WSP's.

Thanks for recommending the bread FO I forgot to add Maple Pecan Strudel - excellent + strong Jelly Donut OMG You can actually smell the jelly + its not the typical fake smelling jelly. Chocolate Devils food cake - Very good too. Edited August 4, 2017 by Moonstar
