Garf Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 A while back, I made 2 candles for a woman that worked in a thrift shop. In return she gave me a load of partially burned candles burned by people that knew nothing about how to burn a candle. I am big on recycling wax rather than allowing it to be dumped. I am nearing the end of the load and have found that some of the wax was garbage while some was very good. All this was almost a waste of time from a learning aspect. Total inconsistency. I have found some strange things in some candles. One is pictured here. The tab is not at the bottom of the wick. Is this intentional, or a screwup? Jcandleattic Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 With commercially produced and manufactured candles, it's anybody's guess if that was intentional or not. I would say, most likely not, but most of those type of candles are machine made in china and imported in.
