mystic sowles
Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help me figure out the size box I need to package my specialty melts. I am looking into Papermart as a supplier but their sizes don't make any sense to me. I want a rectangular type they have: L W DRect 4 1/2 1 1/4 8Sqr 4 1/2 1 1/4 4 1/2These dimensions don't make sense to me. This is there "NOTE: Length is the widest dimension of the opening into the box. Width is the smallest dimension of the opening into the box. Depth is the distance into the box from the opening to the bottom of the box."----What?????My strawberries are 1.50=L x 1.25= W x .75= D. Can anyone tell me if the sizes above would fit 12 strawberries if I stack them 2 high? Thank You!!!! Vicky_CO
I think you will need 5x3x2 but this is what I would do I would line your strawberries up 3 x 2 deep then take measurements and double the height. I would buy a little big then just right and pack the strawberries in tissue paper.
mystic sowles
Vicky thank you for your reply. We did just what you said, we lined up the strawberries to how we wanted them presented in the box and we also finally got through to papermart. For anyone else interested in there packaging-boxes, poly bags etc. We were informed that the D-Depth is the Actual Length of the box, the W-Width-Actual Depth of the box, L-Length-Actual Width of the box. Our box ended up being 3x11/4 x 61/2. That will allow us to box 10-2 rows of 5.
