Lip Balm Flavoring amounts.....

Hi everyone! I have found a fantastic recipe for a vegan lip balm. The only trouble is that I don't seem to be able to smell them? They will go into those .25oz slider tins. When I make individual tins, it is .25 of the base along with 13 drops of flavoring and it is great. When I try to do it in volume I have tried 2.50 oz of base and 130 drops of flavoring and I don't seem to be able to smell it the next day. Is there a curing time for lip balms? Just totally confused! Thanks so much!:cry2:

Hi Suzy!! Thanks so very much! I do feel much better now! I was wondering if maybe it took a couple of days for the scent to really appear. I have noticed today that my Strawberry Sorbet is much better today than it was two days ago! I know that you are one of the many talented people on here that are known for their lipbalms! Thanks so much for making me feel better! I will definitely stick with percentages rather than drops! Soooo much easier!

Lol!! Yes it was very tedious and I had my mom on speaker phone at the same time! She calls me a lot! That is wonderful! I am doing the slider tins because I loved those when I was little and I know lots of others do too! Best of luck with your new line of lip balms and thanks again! Angie
