Darbla Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 I'm trying to pick a few EOs to mix to add to some unscented argan oil. I can add just a little to make a massage oil, or scent it more heavily for a perfumed oil. I really like the super clean Aveda type of scents, but I'm open to any suggestions you have for your favorite EO blends. And I know Aveda actually sells some type of EO blends now (though I didn't look to see if they were pure EOs and nothing else) I'm shooting for inspiration to mix my own from EOs I already have. My trusty standby is lavender and I'm wanting to branch out. One thing I have read is that lavender, ylang-ylang, bergamot, rosemary, peppermint, and orange figure into their scents, so I guess if nothing else I could dabble with that combo because I have all of those. I know I wouldn't be able to exactly reproduce anything from Aveda but still might come up with something good.Thanks for your input! Scented Posted February 28, 2014 Share Posted February 28, 2014 I have a strong connection to grapefruit and blood orange and rosewood mixes, but I couldn't necessarily give you a formula.
