kforbs126
My local supplier for incense also sells body oils. Today i was in and they were telling me all about it. Just buy the specific body oil you want, fill the bottle and your done. Not cutting the oil with anything. Is this ok to do? I've looked online and it seems everyone cuts their with coconut oil or jojoba oil.
Jcandleattic
They are probably selling them with the cutting oil already mixed into it, and that's why you don't have to mix anything else with it. Otherwise I think it might be too strong and/or irritating to the skin.
kforbs126
They said they aren't cut with anything, so it's odd to me that they sell them like that. Every time I go in there people always come in to buy an once or whatever size for cologne/perfume.
Darbla
They could be buying it already diluted, so truthfully THEY aren't diluting them. You have no idea if you don't know their source. The bottom line is it's generally considered not healthy to apply straight fragrance oils. We all do it minimally (if some Pink Sugar drips down the side of a bottle I'm using, I wipe my wrist over it) but most of us don't do it regularly because the manufacturers repeatedly state "skin safe at 3%", or 5% or 10% or whatever their chemical makeup is.
