Venetti
I am sorry I'm posting to wrong forums,And wrong titles. I am new here and I'm still learning. I apologize. I'm still figuring this place out. I'm using igi 6006, and the end result of oneCandle is a hole in the top. It's not very big. I have some leftover wax from the pour,But I'm scared if I reheat it it will evaporate theScent. Should I add more when I remelt orJust remelt and pour? Thanks! Vicky_CO
Do not add more FO just melt and do your second pour.Welcome to the forum!
rjdaines
Of the hole is not that big, a heat gun remelt of the top will usually fix the flaw.
Guest OldGlory
When I first started using igi 6006 I was completely confused by the sink hole in my 8 oz jars and lack of sink holes in my 16 oz jars. Poured at the same temp. Same batch of wax/fo. The only way I was able to get rid of a sink hole was to remelt the candle (at a low temp) because the hole was quite deep.It took me a year to figure out what was causing it (I can be pretty slow-witted at times). My small jars had a much narrower opening, smaller diameter than the large jars The wax cools along the glass and across the top quicker than the large jar and creates that sink hole. Now, I keep my small jars warm after they are poured. That does the trick.
