Please help with bath bomb molds

Recommended Posts

I have been looking everywhere:read: and i cant find if its ok to use metal molds for the bath bomb. This is my first time trying. I used the metal mold I have and what a mess*faint*.

Any help would be great.

I was also wondering if there is a site with good prices for the plastic molds?

Thank you,

Suzan

I use metal and plastic for my bath bombs. I have some little bowls that I bought at IKEA that i use plus some of the plastic ornaments that I got at Michael's.

I also spray with witch hazel to get them to stick together better.

I like the idea of coating the inside with baking soda, sometimes mine don't come out right and I have to redo them.

I also remove mine right away.

What about the smell of the witch hazel how do I get rid of that? It stinks so bad that i can't smell the fo*faint* Do they make a scentless one or is there something else to use? I'm going to have to buy the molds on line no one around here sells them. UGH I spent 2hrs running around and how disappointing that NO one has any here*shudder*.
