msant
So in my never ending quest to produce a candle that has the scent of the sea. I think I found one that I really like and would love to make a fragrance oil that smells similiarly. I wanted to know if anyone knows of companies that you can mail a candle or scent to and they can duplicate it? Does anyone know the cost I should expect to pay? Turnaround time etc? Thanks! marcuset
I think the average fee is approx. $75 plus a minimum of ordering 25 lbs in that fragrance. There's a few places that will dupe a scent. Indigo Fragrance in WI will do it for one.
TallTayl
Thesage.com (MMS) used to. Not sure if they still do or not, but it is worth a try.
Old Crab
Wellington Fragrance in Michigan will. They do need a sample, a small fee, and I believe 25 pounds of product to be purchased as well.
caryfh
Nevitt Fragrance in Dallas, TX just did one for me. I had to send them 1 oz of the FO and the fee was $250 for the reverse formulation. Minimum order after they completed it (can take a few weeks to months) was 8 pounds.
