Darbla
I'm wearing a turban at a hat party in a month, so I'm going for the Carnac the Magnificent look. I can get a huge fake turban at Amazon but I need the giant white feathers Carnac wore on it. Any ideas where to get those?Carnac pics, if this link works:http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fhGgnxQudo8/SgBbvqA6LPI/AAAAAAAAARM/wDe4v7zHUt4/s400/Carnac.jpg&imgrefurl=http://lastcar.blogspot.com/2009/05/carnac-on-cammack.html&h=346&w=350&sz=28&tbnid=tnCO8C-BJv8w_M:&tbnh=100&tbnw=101&zoom=1&usg=__5C-OfmXALwGAZeJ05qZGKms-s4s=&docid=teGsWZ_-DhiJXM&sa=X&ei=XVB3Ud2gMIjy9gSi1IBw&ved=0CDwQ9QEwAg&dur=
Guest OldGlory
Try a fly fishing store, like Orvis if there's one near you. If there's not one near you, you can always call an Orvis store and ask someone to check their fly making supplies for what you want. They will ship to you.Ask some hair salons. I don't know if Tandy is still around, but Tandy always had feathers.

Darbla
I did not even think about Hobby Lobby because just didn't see this as a craft item. Thanks, I got some there!
craftsbychris
I thought of you, as I passed the big feathers in hobby lobby today
Darbla
LOL! I may post the final product after I've finished it. The biggest difference is my turban will be all gold with big feathers and Carnac the Magnificent's was burgundy.
