kountrytimes Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 Just wondering if there is a difference in Palm Stearic Acid vs Stearic Acid (tallow/vegetable)?I bought Palm to experiment with in my GW464, well the wax never seems to set. moonshine Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 I don't remember all the details when I searched it but I do remember with soy wax palm stearic was the better choice I tried it with 415 and I cant remeber if i did in the 464 or not- I will have to look at my notes but I did like it but USA ended up being the better choice for me with the 415Mine set up but would have flaky tops which was not a big deal but the USA gave me a smoother top- with the palm stearic I added 1T per pound of wax Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
