    1lb of wax....tryed editing it but for some reason wouldnt let me...

    So I put a meltie in the a burner last night and it still is smelling good this morning.

    Just one pour and it didnt pull away from the jar. I also did some melties which came out of the silicone molds nicely. Will be putting one in a burner tonight to see how they do. But so far I am really liking this wax.

    So I bought some of that new "Hybrid Wax" from Candles and Supplies...here are my results.. 8oz mason jar...1 1/2 oz apple jack peel...cd12 wick.. Cold throw excellent... Hot throw very good, could be a little stronger BUT I only let it cure for 1 day (was excited to see how it was), and maybe need to wick down 1 size. Let me know what you think from pictures....been burning for 2 hours....

    I use 464 and add USA to the melting wax. Heat to 185 and pour about 175. I have a good scent throw BUT would like it to be better. Can I add more scent? I add 1oz to 1lb of wax?

    I am trying to figure out how to make "ice cubes". Like to put in drink Candles. I have neat ideas flowing in my head but just cant figure out the ice part. Any ideas???? I do use GW 464 for wax, so it has to be compatiable with that..... Thanks in advance

    Just wondering if there is a difference in Palm Stearic Acid vs Stearic Acid (tallow/vegetable)? I bought Palm to experiment with in my GW464, well the wax never seems to set. Kinda mushy. Just wondering if I should experiment with the other acid.

    I sold everything I had with the business so that means have to start from scratch..........Guess after the Holidays I will hit the classifieds hard hopefully!

    I use to make Candles and such but sold my business and MISS it so much....been thinking of getting back into with a whole new concept. Maybe after the holiday season, I will. Do you think I am crazy?

    Yes there are others in my area. And it seems no one is buying grubby prim items much anymore. And with shipping prices on the rise, along with hosting, domains, etc. I am not any farther ahead. I hate to raise my prices. On facebook there are ALOT of candle companies also.

    Good Morning everyone! This has been pondering my mind for awhile now. After 7 yrs of candle making, I am thinking of closing my site and selling everything. Its hard to compete with bigger companies and with prices on the rise, I feel its best. Guess I just need some reassurance that I am doing the right thing.
