WillowBoo
Just starting all soy candles and I wanted to know if it was normal for a cloudy pool to appear around the wick. Mixing 464 and C3 with some CO. It's burning nicely with a CDN 16and the flame is tame
rjdaines
Soy wax melting doesn't happen instantly when the melting point is reached, so it does go through a cloudy phase but should turn into a clear melt pool at some point. It all depends on how much heat is developing in your system and this will change as the candle burns down into the container.
