justajesuschick
Connie's?Candlewic?Millcreek?About to place FO orders with each. Millcreek speaks heavily of soy on their site and while one of my blends has a bit of 415, I primarily use paraffin.Have you successfully tried or use FO's from these suppliers and use paraffin?I'd love to know your thoughts and experience before I order. Thanks! ksranch
I use paraffin. I've only used maybe 4 from Millcreek, but they all performed very well. Haven't tried the other 2 suppliers.
carol k
I use about 4oz. of paraffin to 12oz. of 415 for my molded tarts & MC's oils have worked just fine.
Beth
I've had more hits than misses with Candlewic's Extreme scents.
number2of7
You can't go wrong with Candlewic -- I've only had a few oils so far that were too light for wax. Most are very good oils (at least from there Ultimate scent list)
justajesuschick
Thanks!I will check out the Extreme scents. Sounds right up my alley! The 3 blends all of my testing has taken me down to are 4625/4627/415, 4625/4630/415 and 4625/4630.I have been considering orders with these 3 suppliers (why not, I have tried 17 other suppliers so these will round me to an even 20!) and think that I will place some small orders. Thanks again!! justajesuschick
Will do. That list is pretty much a snapshot of my favorites scents in general. I have only ever tried a melt in one of these scents and it was great. Looking forward to getting these. Hard to go wrong at $1.25 a bottle. I realized that my count was off and I could have gotten one more. Oh, well. I have enough to play with for now!I do need to order more wax to try them even though I hoped not to order more until I was done wax testing. Karen M
Have used both Millcreek and Candlewic oils in parrafin, with great results.
classiccandle
JAJC,Were you able to test the Candlewic fragrances you listed above? If so would you share your thoughts on them? Thanks!

Most are very good oils (at least from there Ultimate scent list)I'd agree with that statement. Tried some from Millcreek and they performed fine too. Not a lot, but a handful. Have yet to try Connies.
justajesuschick
JAJC,Were you able to test the Candlewic fragrances you listed above? If so would you share your thoughts on them? Thanks!I actually try NOT to give reviews here. I will if someone asks specifically about a scent or a supplier that I love. Otherwise I remain out of the discussion. I have very different objectives than most of you here. I am making for myself (and I do share/sell/donate to others as well) rather than this being a business. So, I am not judging just on CT/HT/Longevity. I actually have to LIKE it. So, that rules out a bundle that might pass just fine otherwise. Those in business make LOTS of scents that their customers love but they do not, which makes perfect sense and is the way to go.I tried number form CW and I currently only like and use 2-Toffee Cinnamon Apple and Sugared Vanilla Shortbread. I am certain many of the others lasted a good long time and were nice and strong but if I do not like them, they do not make the cut.Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions. I keep nice, organized notes.
