Guest PassionSunKiss
Hey all,I make body butters and I've been wanting to switch from Optiphen Plus to an all natural preservative. I was wondering if anyone has had any prior experience with the natural preservative Tinosan SDC? I was reading good reviews on it, but one person said that it is light sensitive. Does anyone know what happens when it comes into contact with light? TIA! Edited November 15, 2012 by PassionSunKiss
Kitn
Susan's blog says a lot about it.http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.ca/2010/09/tinosan-sdc-preservative-and-deodorant.html
ProudMarineMom
Also look to the right, scroll down a bit, and find the link to Preservatives. She covers those in detail as well. Excellent blog.
TexasBrat
I have worked with Tinosan. It turns a grey color when exposed to light to long. Also, if you get it on your clothes it turns reddish. I find it easy to work with in b&b.
