Just wanted to update, this is my first day to really test. Poured the melts on Friday, so that's a 5 day cure. I put 1 oz of crumbles in my kitchen burner this morning, it is throwing well, and filling the whole house. If I can get some housework caught up today, I'll be pouring some more tomorrow. Hopefully I continue to have great results.

This is the wax I ordered, it is a little sticky, but not too terribly bad. I haven't really gotten the chance to test the melts I made, but hopefully things will settle down so I can get back to work!!

I used 10% FO, I did not wait a week to test, I was under the impression the it was an all paraffin wax, it doesn't say on the site...

Sorry it's taken me so long to update, we had a death in the family Friday and it's been a little crazy. I was able to pour 1 scent in TCS wax, Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee. I poured 1 clamshell and crumbled the rest. It crumbled very well, great color, I poured at about 145* and it pops right out of the pkg, and has a beautifully nice smooth top. Great CT, and pretty good HT. As soon as I get the chance I'm going to play around a little more, and see how it takes to some Vybar. I'll update more later.

I've got my presto pot full of this wax right now, getting ready to have a little pour-fest I'm not sure what all scents I will be using, but I will be sure to update later!!

*note to self* carry sons sling shot to all shows and vendor events, and keep pockets full of rocks

Yes, it is delicious!!! I will contact Her tomorrow and see, I can handle it just being seasonal, but this one should not go away!!

I bought some off the classies a while back, amazing scent, amazing throw, I have fallen in love with it, but I went to the site and it's not there. I really want to add it to my line up, anyone know of another scent close too it? Or possibly did Daystar just rename it??

Please see previous "I can't even get to the post office rant"..... tax refunds are coming!! We lost the motor in 2 cars this past year. They just really weren't worth fixing. Thankfully my FIL has a car that he doesn't use, so we have it borrowed. Fil and mil's neighbor bought a new car around Thanksgiving, and offered us her very nice SUV at an amazingly low price, and offered to hold it until our return comes in. I can't wait. I have been without a car for so long. I'm going to drive to the store, everyday, just for the heck of it!! The worst part has been not being able to pick up my boys from school everyday like I used to. I'm so excited!! Tax refunds are coming... tax refunds coming!!!

I never thought about having them printed at office max. My printer is an HP, 5000 something series, I think. It was a freebie, DH used to work at the college he attended, and people were constantly bringing him computers to work on, or boxes full of various computer junk. The printer was one of the better things he brought home. It's so old, there are no drivers for it for Windows 7, so DH had to "fake it" with drivers for another printer. It doesn't scan, or fax, just a printer. I really should get a new one that does everything, because there are times I really need to make a copy of something. It doesn't care for the brown kraft labels, but other than that it still prints great. I really need to print some oval labels for my portion cups. I wonder if I took a pdf and the labels to office max if they would be able to print it for me? I wonder if they would be off center too... It's worth a try I guess.

After declaring 3022 my candle wax, I dug out some old 4633 testers and put CD wicks in them. Amazing HT. Not just one different scent. 3, all in different jars. The burnt beautifully through several burns. Now I'm wondering now if 4627 is better than 4633. Thinking about ordering a sample from Peak. With some Honey FO of course....

I was wondering if there was a difference between the two. I have an inkjet, that is so ancient, but I love it. I get ink on Amazon for $13, and it lasts forever! I have been contemplating buying a new printer, but I think I'll keep this one as long as I can.

Thanks for the info moonshine, I've only worked with the square labels so I was wondering how those would do. I've had the same problems with Avery's oval labels and design software. Do you have an inkjet or laser printer?

Online labels is the best, and their design program is great!!

WOW!!!!! That is beautiful!!!!

Oh Dave, I can't imagine being CHOCOLATELESS!!!!! This is my biggest problem, I am never without sweets. I say all the time, if I didn't know how to bake, I could be skinny. I love cooking healthy meals for my family, and am perfectly content having a nice salad for supper. But then after the salad, I think, oh a little treat would be nice, so I go in the kitchen to make something, and it usually ends up being brownies. Triple chocolate brownies, usually with some kind of homemade icing. And then I eat half the pan.... Chocolate is my #1 weakness!! It's my kryptonite!!!!
On a wax note, I woke up to the smell of Iced Oatmeal Cookie still going in the kitchen. That's a bakery scent, going strong for 19 hours. Big, and I do say BIG improvement!! And that is Blend 3.
Sunshine was barely smellable in the bathroom, so I unplugged my warmer. I need to test how well the wax "pops" out, then I'm going to add 1 cube of BTP and see how it does in the smaller warmer.

Don't worry, I won't tell a soul!! My usual guilty pleasure is Godiva milk chocolate with almonds or plain dark chocolate, it's my favorite breakfast, as that is the only time I have to myself to enjoy it!!
-
Unfortunetly, that sounds about right Hopefully you'll find somewhere to sell that you'll love.

I can say this, 3022 is my container wax. I FINALLY got a candle wicked!!! This calls for a celebration, Lindor truffles here I come!!!!!

Somebody smack me.... cut up my debit card.... change my paypal password.... SOMETHING!!! I just ordered more wax.... 10 lbs of TCS's tart wax is on it's way.
-
And all electric warmers are different too!! I sell the plate style warmers from Vista Wholesale, they are very popular, so I'm trying to gear my tarts towards that style of warmer. I have never used a tealight warmer.

se2653- he is feeling much better, thank you for asking! He, like his Daddy and brothers has eaten me out of house and home today lol
I don't have each scent in each blend, but I do have each scent in at least 2 blends. It seems that I get a longer throw with the bulb type burners than I do the plate style and the illumination warmers from Candle Warmers.
Also, Sunshine is a very fresh clean floral/laundry scent, which usually lasts longer than bakery scents anyway. Once it stops throwing, I will put a bakery scent in that warmer and Sunshine in a hotter warmer and see what the results are.
Both blends are still going strong, I put one oz of blend 3 IOC in the kitchen at 2, my hubby and I just came in from getting dinner, and it is still just as strong as when I first start. Too strong. I only tested 1/2 oz of the other scents, so when this stops throwing I'll be adding 1 oz of one of the previously tested scents to see if I get better results.
I hope I'm not confusing everyone!!

I am getting a much stronger HT than I was before, I can't ever remember my melts so strongly filling my entire house, but the longevity is an issue. That's why I put 2 cubes in this time, that's about 1 ounce. It smells sooooo good!! DH says I'm starving him to death, although he has done nothing but eat all day. I've already cooked 2 meals, baked some sugar cookies, made Watergate salad, and now he's asking whats for supper....

I stepped out on faith and ordered a full pound of Daystars Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies, hopefully it is as great as everyone says. It should be here tomorrow! I also got a 2 ozer of Wranglers, going to try it in M&P for DH. I'll be pouring Blackberry tarts as soon as I get it, so I'll let you know what I think, if you haven't tried it already!
