  1. Peak's occassionally offers 25% off shipping. Sign up for their email alerts. Otherwise I look for suppliers that will let me use my own fedex acct#. I'm fortunate my "day job"lets me ship using their account # and I pay them back.
  2. I've visited your site (very nice ) but haven't put anything in a basket. There have been many times I have found items I like but not sure if I want or can purchase at that time. I will put them in a cart and print that or save it until i'm ready to buy. I do this a lot, especially when I'm ordering supplies and not sure which combination of products I want. There are several website tracking tools out there. Google analytics is a good basic one which is free. We use at my company so we know what 'keywords' to target, etc.
  3. Could someone share what sizes in Premier 700's would be similar to ECO 10's and 12's? I've been using ECO wicks in 464 wax for testing 3" containers. However, I'd like to start purchasing as much as possible from Aztec (for shipping costs). Unfortunately, they do not carry ECO's. According to wickit the sizes range from 750 up for 3-4" containers and Aztec recommends 767's. Just trying to narrow down the range to start with. Thank you! Delta
  4. Does anyone know the box dimensions for a case of CandleScience's GB464? I'd like to send my sister in to pick it up for me. Then I'll send FedEx to her house since I can use my company's FedEx account for shipping. Just need to know box dims to estimate their rates.
  5. My sister lives 10 minutes from CandleScience. Maybe i'll have her pick up my orders then send FedEx to her house for shipment.
  6. Does anyone know of a supplier (preferably stocking GB464) who will ship collect using a Fedex Account #? Peak and CandleScience's rates aren't bad, but I can get a significatly better rate using my company's account.
  7. Thanks for the replies! Going to try the ECO 10 next. Now if only I could find a supplier in Nashville... soo don't like paying shipping :/. CandleScience is 10 minutes from my sister in NC. Will definitely have to stop when i'm there this spring .
  8. Hi All, After a couple years break, I've picked up my candle-making hobby (err habit) again with soy (used to use paraffin). I've spent hours on this site browsing the threads and re-learning. I debated between using C-3 and GW464 and finally settled on the 464 for the Hot Throw reviews. Anyhow, I finally poured my first few candles this weekend. Used ECO-14 wicks, heated wax to 185 and added 9% FO (Beach Linen from CS), then stirred until 170 and poured. My house is fairly cool (68/69 deg) so I warmed my 12oz jars in the oven first. Thoughts after 3 hours of test burning are: The HT is great . I have a large living room and can pick up the scent as soon as I enter. Melt pool seems good, between 1/4 and 1/2". My only concern is that the flame seems a bit tall and flickers quite a bit even though I trimmed it to 1/4". Should I wick down? or try a different wick? Jar is approx 3". Any feedback is much appreciated!
