  1. Just make sure on Goddess you use 1/2 your usual amount. I was in a hurry one day , and forgot that it was double strength...

I have melts that will blow the doors off the house at 1:1. Just using 1 lil cube out of a clam it's massive strong. Great, but S T R O N G !!!!!!

  2. Well, girly, there's always the standby's of Pink Sugar, Love Spell, they have one called Goddess but watch it on that, it's STRONG! , Water Blossom Ivy, Cupid ( it smells like Jergen's Original lotion , very cherry sweet) just to name a few...

Clean.... Water Blossom Ivy again lol, Lime Leaf and Lily , Mountain Lake ( at first whiff smells kinda like clean cotton but then you put it in something and there's an airy perfume undertone), Sea Breeze, Basil Sage Mint.

  3. Again, I don't do these types of scented candles, so I can't really comment on personal experience, but I've read enough of yalls post and posts from the BC boards over the years, on how much of a booger things can be with testing , testing and more testing, and it just blows my mind that as much as yall already go through, that'd someone would want to add even more to than, when it's difficult enough to get the right combo with just one scent, one wax and with the correct wick and container.

  4. Ktaggard, congratulations on your first show! Sometimes the learning experience is more valuable than actual sales. I wish you all the best!

Sales are always wonderful, but what scifi said is SO TRUE ! The more you learn and can tweak, the better prepared you will be when the flood of customers hit you at a show ! Learning the ins and outs of doing shows is something you can't really teach someone. We can tell things we know , all we want, but experience and small screw ups and victories are the things that are invaluable !

  5. Correct me if I'm wrong here.. but after reading so many of yalls posts about making candles, the variances that a certain FO or wick combo has.. I'm having an issue seeing how if you blend two, three , four or more scents together to get a special blend, is going to burn correctly when so many FOs act differently so my question is like Jacks. How the heck do you do that and know its going to work right, when you have no clue what combo they are going to request.

  6. I have one, not from this company. It's huge and stands alone on the floor. I can get over 120 different scents on it, 6 deep.

Not sure who sells ones like this, other than big advertising display companies. I happened to pick it up for 20 bucks at a "Habitat for Humanity Rehab " center

  7. I hate that has happen to any of yall. It's frustrating on a level that , well, yall know what I mean.

But I have to ask.. which suppliers and which other oils have done this/been this way.

Sure, I'm nosey but I also ask because someone else might have had this problem and be afraid to say something for fear that they are either a whistle blower, OR that they are overreacting.. and another reason to tell us is because someone might have had to deal with this situation and can give you a heads up on how to deal with that particular company.

We all might be competitors when it comes down to it, but we're all still family too, and we need to look out for each other whenever we can, especially with the ups and downs of this business. I think we need to know if a supplier who is taking advantage of some us.

But............ that's JMHO. When I get to start back up, I don't have the luxury of buying from someone who has been having issues with their CS and products and not correcting it .
