  1. Can any one advise on a good size pvc shrink wrap for large 3 wick candles? I want to make sure I buy big enough
  2. I made a large 3 wick candle and am trying to decide on what wicks to use for it...it's about 6"x6" and it's GB 444...any ideas??

  4. Question...I just did my first tarts in the scalloped molds and was wondering how do you get them out of the molds?? Kind of a dumb question lol
  5. So, order the shrink wrap bags and got them today and I LOVE THEM!!! They are so easy to use and I just through a cute ribbon around my candle to pretty it up:)

  9. So today I started arranging a space in the basement and this is it! It'll be better next week once my b/f builds my bench he's planning...but it'll work for now:) And pretty much all you see, I got today from a guy moving on to other hobbies for $250...I totally lucked out!

  11. I was just curious b/c people at work that I've made a few for said that the cans aren't safe b/c they could cut themselves when trying to light it if the wick is down towards the bottom

  13. Yea I checked Craigslist and there were a couple people selling stuff but they wanted either 1800 or 3000 and that was just a ridiculous price to me lol And the one who wanted 3000 didn't even have any wax, just scents and molds and melters
  14. well, as far as wax, here's my issue...right now I'm working with paraffin and there is no one in Indianapolis that sells it wholesale, so since I'm just starting I have been going to Hobby Lobby and buying wax there b/c I can't really afford to pay for the shipping to order it online...but if I decide to go to soy, I do have someone in town that sells wholesale...I've been doing container candles and just made a couple votives the other day but again I'm just playing around right now and trying to get the feel of things:)

  16. I was just wondering if anyone was willing to sure some of their recipes...as far as FO, wick and wax...Just wondering where to start or just do I start doing things and go from there? Hope everyone's had a great holiday!

  20. So with my last batch I melted it down in the pour pot and then I transferred it to a regular glass measuring cup and it worked a lot better...I barely spilled any!
