Oooh, I hope mine comes tomorrow! Hurry and test it and give reviews:yay:

Peaks leather FO makes the roof of my mouth numb while it's burning... weird eh?
Very strange...but I can never get the taste/smell of lavender gone, it makes me sick! I think maybe I should avoid the leather FO for now! It doesn't sound like it would be a good experience:shocked2:

Very pretty:)

Very nice! Great job:)

Very cool, I really like the blue one on the right:)

That looks great, especially when it is lit!

I had a sample of Peaks Leather FO. I was going to make leather soy candles for some of my "horsey" friends as Christmas gifts. Bad Idea, the first time I went to test burn I thought YUCK. Now, the FO does smell like leather and may work well for an air freshner or some kind of spray I just didn't like it at all in a candle.
That is exactly what I am afraid of. I guess I will just get a sample bottle of it and try a small batch of air fresheners with it.
Thanks:)

Ok not to mix things up but I have not tried Millcreeks. I have tried Peaks and Lonestar and I like the Lonestar the best. HTH
Was it good in wax? Thanks, now I have another one to put on my list.:tiptoe:

We really need to start some kind of program here. This has become an addiction (and an expensive one at that) :rolleyes2
My oldest daughter who is 18 and of course thinks she is very wise:rolleyes2 says I am like a drug addict walking around sniffing my FO bottles!

Looks cool.
So you found your marbles & decided to put them in a candle so you wouldn't loose them again!
:laugh2:

Since we tend to use acronyms for all our suppliers, that one is henceforth to be known as ASS.

Very interesting! I just set my pour pot on an elevated wire rack and let it cool on it's own, stirring occasionally. I usually don't make more than three lbs at a time, and it generally takes 45-60 minutes to cool to very cloudy/slushy. I get good tops and no sinkholes doing this with MC soy (GW415) and 3% BW. I did try once the water immersion and it did speed things up considerably, but like you indicated you have to stay with it, where my curent method I can do other things while waiting.
Great thread topic!

I do the same, but with Tennessee Candles Celestial Soy (same stuff Plain 415)

The website said Monday at midnight so I went ahead and ordered. Thanks for your help.
She used to run them from Sat to Mon (3 day) but a month or two ago she started running them Sat to Fri so more people can get in on them.
Maybe it is different this week though, it usually says on the first page if it is a shorter sale. I am trying to avoid the site right now--if I go look, I will see a few things I NEED to have LOL.
You can always email Becky and ask, she is great to deal with:)
Either way, I am glad you got in on the sale:yay:

They normally run from Saturday until Friday (midnight Fri)
HTH:yay:

Coconut Bubble from Just Scent, seems to be my favorite right now:cool2:

Although Peaks Green Tea is the only one I have tried, it is fantastic! No need for me to try any others.
