So glad you all had such a good time and sorry I missed it. My niece's wedding was absolutely wonderful and I am now toasting my buns in Indian Shores Florida for a few before heading back to Pa. I love the air conditioned condo and my DIL is loving the beach.

Last week for the Backwoods pre-orders. No orders accepted for this after next Saturday. Also for those of you who liked the Satsuma Sunset last year we still have it although it is not on the site due to the flashpoint, it is for pick up orders only. Add to comment box if you would like to order it.

I've used unsweetened coconut flakes on top of my CP soaps. Looked nice.

Abby, Is there a forum on this years site?? I've been swamped with things this summer and haven't really checked for a forum before. I was going to make a small post that the pre buy will end the weekend before the gathering so Lori will have time to pick up before. I am low on some scents but most (not all) are reordered and expected to arrive any day now. We are closing for vacation on 7-14-09 for approximately two weeks. Hope you all have a great time this year.

Found the forum Abby. I had a blind moment I guess. Lori pretty well covered all I had to say anyway.

I'm so over GoodWill... their prices are way too high for EVERYTHING.
The hubby likes JNCO jeans, and they have them sometimes, but why pay $6.00 for jeans when I can get new ones at TJ Maxx for $5.00.
Same goes for their houseware section.
If they prices in line with used merchandise, they would help MORE people than they are now, both with poor folks shopping, and making more money overall for their programs.(quote)
I have to agree with OS. Our Goodwill outpriced themselves the last few years, I can get new off season clothes for the kids cheaper now elsewhere. They got nutty with prices when everyone was shopping to resell on ebay a few years back.

I don't think I've ever heard of such a soap. What makes it special?
As for additives, there are complete lists on the forums.
Frequently made with anise essential oil said to mask the human scent.

Answered you Abbie. Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. We did our little local Herb Fest. Lovely day for it and had repeat customers who love my soap stocking up for the year. That's always so nice.

i have seen some cubes on etsy http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_gallery_3&listing_id=22668855&ga_search_query=sugar+cubes&ga_search_type=tag_title&ga_page=&min=&max=&order=
if you take a look at the ingredients it looks like just sugar, glycerine (shave soap) and oils, maybe a preservative here and there. i'm guessing that's what the vit E oil and grapeseed extract are for.
These particular cubes have no preservatives. She advertises as preservative free, and mentions they may go bad if moisture is introduced to the jar. Suggests just taking one cube to the bath with you.
I had never seen these before. Quite a neat idea.

Cool. I made record bowls back in the 70's.

I believe I've seen that Litsea Cubeba is an anchor for citrus scents.

I use the little glass flower pot votive cups. They hold quite a bit. I did the plastic cup routine once too. My poor scale looks like it came through WWII. I even covered it with foil to protect it and FO pretty much eats it up also.Glo

I particularly like your apple soap. How did your lilac turn out?? My lilac always turns gray. I think I will just leave it uncolored from now on and dust the top with mica.

If I remember correctly she also does upolstering-thus the stitches. BTW Stitches & Wicks was my idea & I still like it. LOL.

This was a great time last year. Unfortunately we have a wedding that day so we won't be there but anyone debating definitely go. The best gathering we've been to yet.

Do you use the test strips from MMS? The test strips are things I used while I was having family and friends test my body creme but I had lab testing done when I started selling it. I sent my body creme to a lab for testing but that cost $900. Ouch!
Yikes. I thought I had read somewhere on here way back that someone was having stuff tested for 30-60 dollars. You must sell a heck of a lot to pay those kinda numbers. Our teeny shows around here it wouldn't pay.

Gave this to my dry DD late last week and she is showing improvement already. Great stuff.

Gotta give this a much needed bump-it's that time of year. My DD has been begging for another batch. Her skin is so dry that her shoulders are cracking. She insists nothing will help but Mommy's homemade body butter. So I'm doing 2 batches today. Can't say how wonderful this recipe is. Thanks so much Cindy for posting this.

I have one of Michael's beautiful carved candles. He does a wonderful job.

We've been getting lots of scam offers and my son located this list. May be helpful if you are wondering if an email offer is for real or not.

Anyone use enamelware cups for soy candles?

Here is a place that might be cheaper. http://www.craftcatalog.com/Enamelware-Mug---White---2-12-P107556C0.aspx
OhioWholesale used to have them too at a cheaper price but I couldn't find them on the site today (site is tricky to navigate so I may have missed them). My son has used the mugs before for his candles and they were very nice.
