I love it Donita - it would look great on my old cabin box in my lounge.
-
This is one really cool candle and I'm going to have a go at trying to get one of mine to look like that. I love it. Truly. :highfive:
-
Thanks Top, it sounds like it does just about everything.
-
Hi Top, this is great. Are you able to tell me what the Universal Additive is made of and what it actually does to improve the quality?
-
That's lovely - the layer colours blend beautifully.
-
The whole arrangement is just beautiful! I want one.
-
Hi Kim, My first reaction when I saw it was that it looks good enough to eat - I'm always thinking of food. It reminded me of an iced cake. I love it and think you did a great job.

Thank you Sharyl. The can was about a 375 mls one.Another beauty. Love the mottled / marble look. So how big was this can? You are definitely the Bead Queen. -
They look beautiful Michael, well done. I love the look of the palm wax too.
-
Ditto - have fun and welcome

You'll have lots of fun and learn heaps. Welcome.

Oh Breanna, that pink one with the white hearts is just gorgeous!
-
That looks great Donita, especially the glittery heart. What is the glitter made out of, and does it burn ok?
-
If you don't like it you know who to sell it to.Jo, your pyramids are just so beautiful - really ethereal looking. Glad you like the fo - I only have a sample to try. -
I haven't actually used the thermometer to test it, I just boil the kettle, then put the hot water into a container and dip away.
-
Dear Sabrina, your candle looks fine. If you want to get rid of some of the outer layer of wax, you can always dip the candle in hot water - that's what I sometimes do to make my chunks stand out a bit and it can also get rid of any imperfections. I love the hearts.
Sabrina is good,
Sabrina is clever,
Her candles are great,
And to look, we all wait!
So keep chandling on,
Without any tears,
So we can all look
And give you three cheers!

I bet you have hundreds of beads hidden away as well - we'd have fun together, the things we'd get up to!I love all of your candles. My daughter made me throw a can away...she said "You don't need to make any more styles of candles"....he he he....she really took the can away from me. She wants me to be working on the ones for her "sexy" line. I use to make Victorian Lampshades and did a lot of hand beading as well as buying beaded fringe. After looking at all of your decorations I am going to have to add some glass beads to one of my lines. I love seeing your new candles. Too bad you live so far away. I think we would have fun working together. Donita -

That looks very sexy and I love the mottle and pink. The red and black look very hot.

I've made one by adding the drips after the candle is made:
1. Dip a straw into the melted wax you want dripped on it.
2. Put your finger over the other end of the straw while it is in the wax
3. Take it out and then when the straw is positioned where you want the wax to drip from, take your finger off the end of the straw.

Sharyl, your plans sound perfect. Have fun with it!

You've inspired me to have a go - I must get a stylus. Your candles all look fabulous.

I like them too, the colours are beautiful.
This is what happens....
