My thoughts on it..... because I use this too, on my face....
If your face is dry, you could use an emulsified scrub recipe, cut back on Stearic and e-wax and use super light oils and butters..... my choice would be to find a nice thick lotion base and add the ground apricot meal to that...
Tea Tree oil is suppose to be a great facial oil, maybe incorporate some of that in there.....
hmmmmmmmmm may have to play here a bit...... bet we could come up with something better.
Anyone plays with this, please share your results!!

I think Tony is Tony's Fragrance oils.... could be wrong....
If you are having trouble with Royal, you could e-mail Jack directly and may have more luck.... jack@royalaromatics.com or jcorley@trilogyfragrances.com
Good luck!
JS has a very nice Happy Dupe...

What are your price points, if you don't mind me asking?

I think SKS has them..... and I double wick mine..... A single would be a torch!
-
I would color mine.... for those of you who use color, do you still have problems with it turning a funky color?
AND what do you sell these for.... say 4 oz. and 8 oz....... retail and wholesale.
Thanks for any help, just finding that making my own is way too time consuming, especially on large wholesale orders.

Call the contact number and talk to Pat.... she is sooo helpful. They have great customer service and their prices are great. She'll let you know dimensions and whether shipping to Canada is possible.
Tell her Lisa sent you:D
They do have a wharehouse in Cleveland...

I am having the same problem... contacted them.... and the weren't very gracious about it. At first they said it was a manf. problem, so they were not responsible (WTF)...... then after much bitching by me and saying they should stand behind what they sell, they said they will replace when new ones come in.
It has way slowed down my production....

I have a few of these that I think hold 8 pounds of wax or so.....
I'd be willing to sell them to you cheaper..... and I'm sure my shipping would be better.... we get a good discount from UPS......
PM me if you are interested.....

Hi Dee...
Try Millcreek for your clamshells. 100 for $23.75. I usually get 400 for $90.25.
Makes them much cheaper. There are co-op frequently. If you don't need that many made you could place an ad on the classies and split an order.
If you only need 25-50, I would be happy to part with some. I always have plenty on hand.

ROFL -- I'll never get the image of a Thomas Jefferson candle out of my mind. Now ... if you could make a Bush candle ... I'd like to watch that one burn! <grin> That's what I'd call a true 'therapy candle.'
Good job thinking outside the box, Sassy! I know how it is to have an idea rattling around your head that you just can't let go & it's even better when it's something everyone says can't be done.
Susan.
Wow! The Burning Bush.... I'd PAY to see that!

Creative Body Essentials and Wicked1 both do spectacular packaging.... maybe they will chime in:D

I actually use the bank our business in run through as our e-commerce account. Then our web designer integrates it into our system. Just makes the whole banking/accounting thing easier for us. But you do have to do the whole credit check/approval thing.
