I'd try another wax too - you shouldn't have to use 1.5oz of FO pp - personally, if an FO doesn't cut it at 1oz pp I move on

For my nose, the strongest vanilla (and I've tested a LOT) has been CS Very Vanilla. I have some pillars I made 3 years ago that I can still just walk by (unlit) and can still smell vanilla. It's a shame it's not soap safe.

I have run into that one - I simply told them that they must keep in mind if the customer bought from my website they would also have to pay shipping - which would make it more expensive than buying from them - therefore they will get the repeat business.

I agree with the others - my cost is my business only. I have had one retailer that asked if I could "do better" on my prices, I told her no - she bought anyway.

Agree - it looks great, but go all the way to the end - if it's cleaning up that well now hopefully the sides won't be too hot near the end...

I agree - personal preference. I color mine - I love to make multicolored candles that look unique, and it's working for me.

I agree with both of them - you can go with 4625 and be fine. I recently did 40 candles for a wedding and they glowed just fine.

When this thread got bumped up and I read it I thought - what the hell, try it, you're still looking for a good pumpkin. Well, I got it today. OOB I went - ehh - but then I put it in wax! WOW!! I absolutely LOVE it!! This is def what I had been looking for!! Plus, I got some of their Maple Pecan - I can't wait to make Pumpkin Maple Pecan Soap this weekend!! YAY!!!! :yay:

I use a 4625/4630 blend and do have to pop my warmer bowl in the freezer too - it's just not a problem
