  1. I love the Tureen jars....I double wick them. With J50 & J223 I use two ECO 4's. I really don't see how you could get a good melt pool using only one wick. HTH
  2. Leather....makes me sick and stinks my house for days....but have customers that must have it:rolleyes2
  3. Welcome Jessica...this is a wonderful place to learn and share
  4. I guess congratulations are in order for you:yay: Glad to hear you have found your combo that works.
  5. Those are very pretty...love the colors. Haven't tried that scent. Add that to my growing list of FO samples to try.
  6. I use J50 and J223....J50 is a one pour for me....J223 requires a re pour to top off...gets a dip. Sometimes a zap with heat gun will do. Both have a great scent throw, hot and cold. I use J50 for heavy scents...J223 for lighter scents...works for me:grin2:
  7. For those that are interested.....It's Triangle Insurance Agency, Vidor, Tx. 1-800-969-0261. Alana Robinson is the person you need to talk to. They have several companies that write this insurance and she will get quotes from these companies to get you the coverages/premium to suit your needs. She is very helpful. It took her about 3 days to get my quotes. Her e-mail addy is: ARobinson.trian04@insuremail.net. Just a reminder...this is for those in Texas only.
  8. Just thought I would give you guys some info. I just purchased General Liability Insurance/ Product Insurance today. I live in Texas. Got it from an Insurance Agency in Vidor, Tx. They can write this insurance anywhere in Tx. If you are interested PM me and I will give you the details, phone #, etc...FYI...my prem. is around $800.00 per year, with $1,000,000. incl. fire legal liability of $100,000. and medical payments in the amt. of $5,000. This would be for each occurrence. I am classified as a Home Based Business - Handcrafts/per 1 person.
  9. NG Pink Sugar is great...I have tried Peaks also, which is good.
  10. I had been using J50 like you until my local supplier quit selling it...now I use J223. The J223 does not perform like the J50...it has a dip in my JJ, I usually do a re pour or just zap with a heat gun. Also, I have to wick up a bit with the J223. In my JJ I use 51z in heavy scents, others I use 44z. Whereas, with the J50 I used 44z altogether. Great throws both hot and cold. HTH
  11. Oh my gosh!!! That is absolutely beautiful. Looks so real. Great talent you have there.
  12. That sounds like a fun project....my grand kids will love this. Thanks for sharing, Ginger
  13. Those are too cute. Off I go to Hobby Lobby:D
  14. I use liquid dyes in all my waxes....tried the dye chips, but had problems getting them to dissolve, leaving little specks in my jars. Or, maybe I was just impatient and should have stirred longer when adding the dye chips:undecided
  15. I use a hot glue gun...only problem is occasionally burning fingers:)
  16. My wine glasses are almost 3", with J223 I use 51z; with J50 I use 44z.
  17. Got my sample in today...yippeee. Can't wait to test. Thank you Jason!!!
  18. I usually pour 3 to 5 jars at a time. Unless, I have a big order to fill. Most I have had to pour at one time is 60- 18oz. apothecary, layered. Now that absolutely wore me out. But, enjoyed the money though:wink2:
  19. I wish the very best for you....May God Bless. Please check in here often, your wit and wisdom is a picker upper for me.
  20. Very pretty....absolutely love the colors!!!
  21. I have purchased from Candlechem on e-bay....Christmas scents. Haven't tried any of their other scents.
