Love your great attitude!!

Thank you Noodle. It was obvious that he did not like my candles. I know I was way off on scent, but he did not like anything about them :-) I have read some of his posts on other thread and he has immediately let everyone know that he does not like a lot of advise that is given on this forum and seems to be here to give his great input since he has been making candles for so long. I hope that he does it with a less abrasive approach in the future. At my age, I have learned to have a pretty thick skin, but some of our newer people may be intimidated by his constructive criticism .

Great. I have always gotten good service from Lone Star!

PA - Scott and I started in our kitchen. Once we bought the Presto melters, we moved to the basement and were able to have more room. I look forward to seeing our pics

I live in Kansas and I am always following the yellow brick road! I so glad that the good witch has used her magic to bring back Craftserver (Thank you Alan!)

Thank you Nancy. It is a difficult scent for me. I've been using a creamy vanilla but I'm just not getting the response I want.

I have been using creamy vanilla from Lonestar. I like it, but I do not sell a lot of it. Would love feedback on a vanilla that really sells. I would love some help on this.

I'm wondering if her whole website it a shame. If she is stealing pics, then she is probably not making these products. People who place orders from her may not ever get their purchases. Not sure how to find out, but I would be very leery of this website. JMHO

I have also sent her a message. If she gets enough of these perhaps she will remove these plagerized pictures. She must not have much imagination of her own!!!

Candybee - I have been working on my wholesale pricing. Can you give me a range in percentage as to what profit is acceptable? In other words, after cost, should you expect to make somewhere around 30% profit when wholesaling? I believe that was a number I learned many years ago in college, but I'm not sure. There is a point where it is not reasonable to sell wholesale because there just is not enough profit. A little guidance would be appreciated.

I do lots of shows that have Scentsy reps and never have a problem. They are busy and so am I. They put down the use of candles but most people still love a burning candle. Do not be afraid of competition - it is usually good for business. I do not do July or august shows either due to the heat.

Hello Mike! Welcome to the forum. You will learn lots here, I have. My husband and I work together on our candles as well. He does most of the pouring and I do most of the research. We love this work!
Please let me know what you think of these.

Thank you Tracy. I knew I was overboard on the scent, but they were fun to make. We just finished some in orange, white and green and the colors go well with the pumpkin scent. I would love to see your hippie pillars!
