Wow, Top! Talk about candle porn!!! lol
Looks great!

If using 5.5 oz. of wax and adding .3 oz. of FO, that would come out to 5.17% FO
Online Conversion Percentage Calculator is a very useful tool!

Your 415 candles did really come out great! What temp did you pour at? Just poured one last night and the top was disgusting! Nothing my little heat gun won't fix, though! I poured around 112. Should I be pouring cooler? It seemed like forever for the wax to cool...so not used to straight soy!

I agree with Jcandleattic, you're probably getting that wild flame because of the FO content. With the zincs I never get a wild flame, if anything I get a mushroom from longer burning times and the flame turns a little somber. As soon as it's trimmed it burns nice and bright again. It's actually a good indicator to customers to keep their wicks trimmed!

I agree with Top as well...they look great!
I will do anything to get out of doing a repour; try pouring at 140 into heated jars, you may be pleasantly surprised
Also, a heat gun is your friend! lol

What wicks have you tried so far?
I would use a 44-32-18 zinc in that, or even a 51-32-18 zinc. I know not a lot of people like the zincs, but I swear by them.
Maybe an HTP 104?

Thanks, guys! I'm such a mad scientist, lol!
Maybe a blend of 415 and 464 to smooth it out...
Maybe a blend of 415 and a teeny bit of paraffin...
My mind won't stop, lol!

Anyone ever try Vybar 260 and soy? I was thinking of trying it with some 415 just to see how it would come out...
I've mastered my own blend (parasoy) which took years, and I love my paraffin, but, like many of you I continue to test, test, test. lol I think it's in my nature to never be satisfied! Geesh, I can't believe I'm crossing over to the dark side....straight soy here I come!
So should I leave the vybar out or no?

For NG I like Blueberry Muffin! Nice and strong!

Thanks!
Can't find Mountain Dew or Blue Jeans
The Biolage is awesome, I have that one! It's dead on!
I'll probably place the order in a few days once I get some more suggestions. Keep them coming!

Any recommendations for strong FO's? Any favorites?
-
Oh...I see....
Did you ever think of buying straight from a manufacturer?
Or maybe you can take what you have left and get it duped!
Just a thought!

Hmmm...
That's a shame! How frustrating!
I wonder if the new supplier diluted it, or switched to a cheaper grade to save $.
Not smart when taking over a business; you would think they would want to keep everything the same at least for a while to maintain the customer base!
I swear sometimes I want to start a fragrance oil company just to see what really goes on!
I miss Bert's...

Is that Creme Brulee from Fragrance Buddy?
Do you use HP or CP?
Never tried Fragrance Buddy, may just have to jump in and get some samples!
-
Sounds luscious! I'd like to try that one!

I don't even know how many I tried...Vanilla Select from BB is ok, but I can still smell the play-doh.
I'm looking for a french vanilla, buttery and bakery...anyone have success with HP? Heck, any vanilla scent I would be happy with! I don't even care if it turns black, lol!
-
Ahh.. that's what it is...the vanillin!
Ok. Now I'm on the hunt for a good vanilla with little or no vanillin!
-
Anyone else have this problem? No matter what soap recipe or vanilla FO I try, I can't seem to get a good vanilla scented soap!
-
Suzy, you are so talented! They almost look too pretty to burn! lol

Thanks so much! Great price points, too!
Looks like I'm adding yet another supplier! This sounds exactly like what I'm looking for!
Thanks again!

Not one of you?! lol
Maybe I'll just order and give a review...
(sigh) Still looking for the perfect sugar cookie....any suggestions?
Yes I did and WHY did I wait so long?
