If you want to make your own syndet shampoo bar, go to Swift's blog. She has many recipes there.

Candlewic's Lemongrass and sage smells like lemongrass to me. I get no sage notes from it and it throws very well in 6006.

That is the exact look my candle had too ...Those ugly yellow spots on the bottom and sides.

I recieved the oils this week....
PUMPKIN CARAMEL CAKE...OOB wonderful creamy pumpkin cake aroma...no carmel detected though....In 4630 wax the CT is a little weak but good HT. I am going to try it in 6006 tonight.
APPLE CRISP--OOB a delish apple pie fragrance...have not tested yet
BEAR CLAWS ---OOB..OMG. Sweet Toasted almond fragrance is what hits me first then hints of spices..love love it. In 6006 it is wonderful on the CT and HT.
BLONDE MOMENT---OOB..Wonderful my son thinks it smells like the smarties candies. I think its sweet tartish too..love it. CT and HT is wonderful!

Just wanted to pop in and assure you that it wasn't a bad bottle -- I bought it in March of this year...
No Worries here ..the candle smells fantastic. I just wanted to see if it has ever happened to anyone and any adjustments that I could make. I am going to try to mix at 190ish and see if that helps..thanks for the recommendations everyone. I love this stuff and I want to make it work ;-). By the way the sweet orange chili pepper is fantastic as well as the strawberry kiwi.

Has anyone had fragrance tat didnt mix well with the wax? I made some coconut cream pie fragranced candles in 6006 with (ky)Coconut Cream Pie and it separated or rather never incorporated witht he wax. I have yellowish blotches on the bottom of the candles. I mix at 180 and and still stir for aprox 2 min. The candles smell good but look terrible. I have had seeping happen when I used soy but never ever in the 6006. I only use 6% per #. Very strange..maybe a bad bottle? It was bought used.

I like millcreeks. It's close to ICS's, but you can smell the graham cracker crust.
I vote for MillCreek as well.

I have 8 oz left and its all mine until I find a replacement....I am in a state of panic over this. Had I known I would have grabbed it up. I did grab enough of the eucalyptus when I found out about it.

I have always used Southern Garden Scents for Chamomile..I love love this fragrance. It looks as if they have discontinued this fragrance unless you buy in bulk??...but it has been removed from the site. I also used thier eucalyptus ...it didnt smell like eucalyptus but the smell was so fresh and clean. Does anyone have any recomendations of another supplier with Chamomile compairable to thiers? Any input would be great!

Well said Candybee..much better put than my rambling!

I agree with Steve. I think Highly scented candle or maximum fragrance load better describes. We all know that different formulas of wax can only hold a certain amount of fragrance. Some candles made at 6% can throw stronger than candles at 9% or even 12%. It all depends on the wax and wick you use. Sometimes over fragrances candles will not smell at all. Ok..thats all of the rambling I am going to do....Now if I could get a good throw out of peach my day would be complete. But since I have been working on it forever I doubt that will happen.

OK, I've tried numerous KLP scents, including but not limited to ICS, BCN, BCS, LS, and Ky--some were nice but just not strong enough or were strong enough but not true to the name. I was thinking of trying Maine-Erie's version (man, do they have a lot of in-house blends--anybody tried any of those yet that you really love?)
Does anybody have any other suggestions for key lime pie scent that burn without the dreaded fuel smell and that are true to the name? Thanks everybody!
I just tested Mill creek...it is the best one I have tried yet and it is on sale right now
