  1. I think I need to clear up something that I stated earlier. My customers will special order a larger candle in a scent that I carry in votives and melts so therefore I already have the scent. They do pay up front. I only do jj and use 4630.
  2. If you want to get away from zincs than get a sample pack of the CD unless you have them already. You could also try the LX sample pack. HTH
  3. Did you try wicking down. Peak sight says a 60z or maybe even a 44-32z. You could also try maybe a CD12 as a starting point. HTH
  4. I don't sell mine but I use the 50/50 ratio. I test them until the mixture is gone so I can see how long they will last. I also turn my reeds once a week. I have a chocolate in my bedroom and I go to sleep smelling chocolate and it has been there for a couple of months. lol HTH
  5. I try and do at least 2 test burns a day since I don't know when and how the customer will burn them. I do take special orders but I also tell them I will call and let them know when they are ready to be picked up. I am at our flea market every weekend. HTH
  6. I have searched and didn't find a answer. Where does everyone get these online that would fit in a 3" mold? The only ones that I can find are colored ones and they pretty much cover the bottom of my mold. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
  7. Ok. With Peak's oils I only use 1 oz per pound of wax. Some of them I can also get away with 1/2 oz per pound. HTH
  8. Do you have any 44-32-18z wicks? I use either a 44-32 or 51-32 in my 9 oz hex jars. Are you using 1oz of fruit slices to a pound of wax? HTH
  9. Thanks for the replies. With all of the searching and reading I decided just to stick with the cd's and eco's this time around.
  10. I get mine from Online Labels and do my labels in DesignPro from Avery. HTH
  11. Ok I have searched and read all day today but I didn't find an answer to this. Does anyone use LX wicks with this wax? I am pouring 8 oz jj and 8 oz tins tonight using eco and cd wicks. I do have lx's so I thought I would attempt those too if I could get a starting point. Oh I also have CSN sample pack of wicks. TIA
  12. It looks great so leave as is. If you don't like it you know you can send it to me.
  13. I use the 2.83 x 2.2 size labels. HTH
  14. I use the 51-32 zinc in my tin with the 4630. My experience is the first burn I usually get mushrooming but it does tame down. It all depends on the FO too. Sometimes I will get mushrooms and sometime not. HTH
  15. Sex on the Beach, Butt Naked and Lick Me All Over. I will be using these in melts, votives and maybe a soy blend for containers. TIA
  16. I get my chips and liquid dye from Peak. HTH
  17. I am going to be making melts and votives.
  18. Now you know I don't have a just plain apple and plain cherry. Do you know who has the best ones of those?
  19. Who has the best Candy Apple? TIA
  20. Has anyone tried CandleScience Cotton Candy? If so, how does it compare to the reviews I have seen from KY fo? TIA
  21. Hey whats in Georgia that you are going to? I know curiosity killed the cat. :tiptoe:
  22. Fruit Slices Honeydew Melon Honeysuckle Pineapple Blueberry Muffin These are just a few. My jars aren't selling but my melts and votives sure are. HTH
  23. I use 4794 with 6% FO and I use 36-24-24 in them unless it is a heavy scent and then it is a 44-20 or 44-24. You could also try an LX14. HTH
