  1. Yes. I was planning on pouring the 464 directly into the votives. Why would the say the 464 isnt as good as the pb tho???
  2. Ok.... so i want to start making votive candles using 464 and CO. I have some questions about wicking ( i purchase from candlescience) so anything they have will work. But are there any TIPS i need to know?? what wicks do i use? ETC.. THANKS GUYS

  4. By accident i forgot my GB 464 was on the pot and it got up to 225 degrease as appose to my 185.. HOw does it effect the candle?

  9. I wanted to start making standard votives candles and I love my 464... love it id marry it. However I'm new to glass and with wall adhesion and such I'm not quite sure how the 464 will work with that.. ANY tips on glass tea lights???? wicking?? not sure..
  10. Hey whats up travis?! I have labels made to fit the CS lids so I was wondering if they are exactly alike. Also do they have those little feet on the bottom?

  12. I purchase all my tins from CS. I LOVE CS. However, the more orders I make the more i start to realize that man these tins are costing more then the actual wax and FO combined! Does anybody have anywhere else they do to that distributes the tins at a cheaper price... NOT INTERESTED IN SACRIFICING QUALITY. THANKS GUYS!!

  15. I have GB 464 and I'm trying to develop a good earthy scent with an AMAZING throw.. Any recommendations?Or what oil brand in general do you feel works best with soy in regards to throw.. I appreciate your input!!

  17. HAHAHA actually you have no idea how much that means to me.. I'm a younger guy and i think its funny because i think i bit off more then i can chew when i started doing this stuff... everybody thinks im crazy cause there like brandon your gonna do what!? im like yea make candles dude they smell good. haha. but anyways yea i feel like the 464 is what most people think is the best soy and has the best throw out of all of them (according to candlescience) so naturally it was an easy choice for me to make..
  18. My 464 still has rough tops post burn even after i added 1 tsp per pound at 185 degrees f. ANY SUGGESTION?? I also cooled them in my stove to make sure they didn't cool too fast as well..
  19. I like 464 and im trying to start a good relationship with it but its giving me some trouble! im gonna post a thread on my newest problem which is crumbly looking tops EVEN AFTER Coconut oil... GRRRRRR what would you suggest.. i mean it looks a ton better then it did without it after burning, but its not perfect.
  20. Alright Ecosoya CB Xcel has just come out and i want to put all the cards on the table here... I've been using golden Brands 464 with coconut oil under the impression that the 464 has the best throw of all the soy wax's.. I would like to get other peoples input on the topic because this new soy looks rather good..
