  1. I've read through all the room spray threads about Cyclo & FO and haven't seen anyone mention that it would need a preservative. Does that mean it doesn't need one? Also, I read somewhere that you can't deliver Cyclo by Air. Is that true, and has it been a problem to send ground? TIA

  2. I'm making bath tea as a favor for my sister's baby shower. The shower is going to be a Tea. I just got my Pampering Bath Tea from WSP and tea bags. Should I add anything to the tea? Or do you think it's okay as is? I read some posts that people add salts and other things to it. Should I add any EO or FO to it, and what's the best way to do that - do I spray it on so it disperses better? Sorry for the novice questions :embarasse .

  3. Which do you think makes a better spray? I've tried one with FO and Cyclo and one with FO and water/witch hazel. The Cyclo seems a little oily and I only noticed it because I sprayed it in my kitchen and the floor was glossy and slippery. Can anyone tell me which is better to use? TIA

  4. Someone gave me a this Healing Garden bath soak forever ago and I finally decided to give it a try. It was very nice, Gingerlily - except it turned the water pee color :tongue2: . Does anyone know if there is a supplier that makes this FO? I did a search on Fragrance Finder and it didn't come up. TIA

  5. I've recently heard that the higher rate of peanut/nut allergies in children might be because of peanut oil used in some babycare products. Not sure if this applies to all nut oils, but thought it might be important to research further if you're making skin care products for infants. :smiley2:

  6. It is an aloe gel, not the aloe oil, which it seems is what I should have used for the balm. So I'm definitely going to need to add a preservative to it. I ordered it from From Nature With Love, but couldn't find if it is water based. I'll look further on their site. Thanks for the help!

BTW, can I use beeswax as the emulsifier? And if so, how much for this recipe? Thanks, and sorry for the really basic questions.

  7. and now I have questions. There's oil on top, it seems like it's a bit grainy and the aloe gel (but liquid in the bottle) seems to have settled on the bottom of the jar. I followed this recipe (Thank you Spellkast!) but cut it in half:

4 oz. unrefined shea, 2 oz. cocoa butter, 1 oz. olive butter and 1 oz. mango butter. Melt these all in the microwave and mix in 2 oz. sweet almond oil and 2 oz. safflower oil. Add a T of Vit. E and about a T of aloe juice.

I added about 1/2 T of Carribean Coconut FO.

I mixed it all together with a spoon, poured it in a jar, stuck it in the fridge to cool and that's it. Any advice? TIA

  8. I finally got all the ingredients together to make the belly balm recipe that Spellkast gave me for my pg sister. I've never made B&B so I'm super new to this - the only thing holding me up is what to put it in once I make it. Will it be so thick that it should go in a jar? Or not so thick that I should put it in a a squeeze tube? TIA
