duh...just realized what a stupid question...you are right Jcandleattic. No fire/flame. Blame it on a house full of people ,sink full of dishes and me ...finally getting to sit down after everyone left. Brain tired....lol.

Ive been checking prices on tarts to see what the market is charging, and Ive noticed that a lot of tarts/ melts have glitter/sprinkles on them. Is this safe?

If this has been talked about on another thread, please let me know. Ive been reading for an hour and found nothing similar. Ive been selling wholesale melts ,1 ounce, and Im just not seeing the sells. Maybe because of hot summer. I know candles sells are down somewhat during the summer season. Christmas is right around the corner and Im second guessing my 1 ounce and want to do something different. The 2 ounce cups or clamshells. What sells the best for you? TIA ( what they look like, please excuse picture,( is just something I as messing with).

Its been several long years since I've been here. I remembered paying around 45.00 a case for paraffin wax. Soy was so much higher. Now its the opposite, soy is cheaper and paraffin is higher. What happen?

Can anyone tell me the name of the man that sells candle wax in Dallas? He just sells wax, paraffin, food grade too. Owns a warehouse.

just received 7 fragrances from Only. Has anyone else used this company? The fragrance doesnt smell very strong from the bottle.

ditto chucks answer or I would just explain that cold throw is nothing like the hot throw on those 80. And say something like" just try it".

The red square looks like felt to me, not sure.If it is thats how the fragrance is coming thru. My guess is that you lay it down on the plastic side. Are there any instructions? Some fragrance oil will melt plastic

Just brought a BH warmer ($15.00). Its green with (looks like) holly leaves around it. Brought the clam shell with Balsam & Cederwood, and Peppermint Candy. Its $2.00 for 2.5ozs. per clam shell. Scenty sellls this for $5.00. Just turned it on, the balsam smells very good. Just opened to clam shell to read their warning, and it says, made in USA.The warmer in China.

Just posting a experience that maybe someone might get a lesson from. I had a warmer (brought from wally world) in living room on end table. Its been on for a couple of days with about half a cup of wax in it. Husband goes to work, I go to work, ...dog goes behind the coffee table. ( She never lays there). But..I come home, smell something funny,start looking around. Warmer is face down on carpet.carpet is scorched,warmer is melted.The wall and drapes took most of the wax. Thankfully my dog has long thick hair. She had wax all on oneside of her,just legs and side. I checked her out .No redness or burns. A little mad at me for cutting all her hair off now. Needed new carpet anyway. But lesson learned. NO warmer left on, ever. I dont need hate post..you cant say anything I havent said to myself. Just a reminder to not leave wax untended...(How many times have I put that on the underside of a jar???)

Man! I`ve been out of the candle business toooo long. I didnt realize prices have gone up so much. Maybe I need to rethink this before I jump back into it. Warmers are so high. I know Walmart brand are only 5.00....(and Walmart). But still.....

Thanks Judy. I guess Greenleaf is gone. JBN`s prices are alot higher than Greenleaf or Lonestar. Guess I`ll stick with Lonestar.

Who has the the Cherry Blossom fragrance? Lonestar says a close imitation. Does anyone have a favorite one?
