Yikes!!! more? oh man....off to the CS website I go again....
They all sound nice, especially Apple Harvest and I'm a big fan of anything Pumpkin so can't wait to sniff this one.
Thanks for the update Candybee

Well I got impatient and burned 2 of my peanut butter cookie testers.
a votive...I used 6006 mixed with some ecosoya pb and also a 4 oz JJ.
All I can say on that one is YUMMMMMM it's not super strong yet but after a couple days this one will be a winner for me.
Next I will make some votives with FP wax and see how that goes.
All I can say is if you like bakery scents then you will LOVE the PB cookie scent......
I also agree with candybee on blowing out the candle upstairs and letting the place clear out some and then test burn.
I smell the gingerbread just fine....not strong but really nice. For me it wasnt the blow you outta the room kind of scent but it's a keeper for me.
-
I used CS feather palm and mine smells yummy.....not super strong though but yummy.
Maybe it needs to cure a bit?
I just poured the Peanut Butter cookie in 6006 and am going to let that cure a day or 2 if I can manage to wait that long lol
-
The Gingerbread smells sooooooo yummy! I made some votives using Feather palm and was very happy with that one.
Got a tart burning with the Peanut Butter Cookie right now and that one is another winner for me. super yummy yummy
vanilla hazelnut is pretty much my most popular scent right now...oh how I love the scent. throws great in 6006 and palm
I also just got twigs and Berries but have not done anything with it yet. Although it's not my type of scent I can tell that this one will be quite popular with a few people here that like the woodsy berry type smell.
CS never ever fails to impress me....almost everything I try I love with this supplier

Very nice! Love the color
-
It's been a while since I have ordered any oils from the but the 2 I remember being really nice were Red Hot Cinnamon and Orange Satsuma.
-
A few FOs from CS that I have tried in GG and FP are Gardenia, Smoke and Odor Eliminator, Mac Apple, Lavender, Vanilla Hazelnut(awesome throw) and Sunwashed Linen.
I'm sure there are others but those are a few I can think of off the top of my head.
-
Oh they are adorable!!!
I really love the first one the best with the witches hat.
Great job!!!

I use a large plastic container filled with sand. I get the play sand at my local hardware. You just have to remember to put it away when you are done if you have cats in the house!
LOL Candybee .....since I have a few cats and plenty of cat litter around here the same advice on that would be good too. lol
I like the idea of doing tilted containers.....I have some hex jars that would work nicely.

Steve - I am very jealous that you can do a pick up with Candle Science! However, I would be flat broke if I lived too close!
Me too!!!!! I just LOVE CS oils
All 3 scents sound nice. I just gotta come up with another good excuse to buy more. I have way too much now and can't keep up with testing new FOs but my inner self keeps saying ...get them..get them...get them.......
ohhhh these sales all killin me!! lol

1 to 1.5 pp depending on the oil
The leaf rating they use is really accurate imo so if it's a 2 leaf rating I will use 1.5 but the 3 leaf ones 1 oz pp works nicely
I don't really bother with the 1 leaf rating oils as I know it will probably be too weak for candles.

Beautiful soap! I love the color

Beautiful!!!

I'm gonna have to give the Celtic Moonspice a try. I just love spicy fall scents.
Would you say the Celtic has a better throw than Amish Quilt?
The Almond Torte sounds pretty good too. The only almond scent I got with my sample was Almond Creme and woa a bit heavy to my nose on the Almond. Anything almond will give me a headache if I smell too much of it.....especially Cherry Almond.
-
awww bummer on the CM Hot apple Pie. I got that one too but only burned a little bit strait in my tealight burner and its smells nice so I figured it would have a good throw in 6006.
I also got Apple Crisp but not too sure about that one.
I'm totally in love with Amish Quilt...great fall scent

Thanks for the reviews dnj. Can't wait to pick up my order tomorrow.
If the Driftwood gets rave reviews maybe you could consider renaming it to Boardwalk ? I loved visiting Atlantic City waaayyy back in the day.
I Love going to Atlantic City when I get the chance which is not very often but naming it Boardwalk is an excellent idea Judy! Thanks!
Eventually I'll probably order it as one of the freebies we get with an order.
Well ..I decided to try cake full strength in my tealight burner and it's much better smelling when burning than it is OOB. I too have so many bakery scents but bakery is my favorite,,,,I can't seem to get enough of them. I do smell the cake scent so it's not entirely like very vanilla like I had first thought.....I have major candle nose these days with all the testing and sniffing of new scents so my sniffer is a bit "off" lol
-
Got my order in yesterday.
My opinions OOB on Cake.....kind of smells the same as Very Vanilla. It smells really good but I was hoping for a more cakey sweet type smell but then again thats just and OOB opinion so it could be entirely different in wax.
Day at the Spa smells really nice oob. Very clean with really nice citrus notes to it. A sure winner for me.
Those are the only 2 I ordered. I didn't go with Driftwood because I don't think that one will go over real great here.
Anyone else get theirs yet? I'm curious on everyones opinions on the 2.
-
I only got 1 sample but my Pumkin Creme Brulee is a light yellowish tan color.
-
So far my favs OOB are Pumpkin Creme Brulee, Pound cake, vanilla wafers and Cinnamon Imperial.
I put a small amount of Amish Quilt in my tealight burner and ooooo nice and strong and smells awesome
Welcome Home is really nice...Pickin Pumpkins yummm
oh and apple crisp too!
I could go on and on but thats off the top of my head
-
So has anyone who ordered got the new CS scents yet? Please, please, please post your OOB reviews before I burst!!!
Looks like I'll be getting mine in tomorrow Candybee.
I have so many testers from the AH/RE sale and now these coming I'm hoping to try and get some stuff done this week....will surely let you know my opinion on how it smells OOB as soon as I get it.
-
CS Vanilla Hazelnut is a big hit around here. Smells so so good in 6006 and is surely a great fall scent. For me it's great all year long.
-
Well, I had to order some wax anyway so therefor had to try the cake and day at the Spa....3 of each of course...I tried to get more of the Cake but bummer...only allowed 3 of each at the (Specifics not allowed.)
I have been wanting to try out the IGI 4794 wax for votives and tarts and this was my excuse to go for it hee hee hee
I absolutly LOVE CS's oils...my total favorite FO supplier
-
C&S has a dry oil spray base that claims it's 100% silcone free and a good replacement for cyclo.
I have been curious about this base but have not yet tried it so I can't say if it's any good or not.
-
Thanks Carol! I got it
And off to the sale I go
Few new Candle Science scents

I just put in my cart so far 10 oz worth of FOs. Ordering some samples. 8.38 worth of oil so far.
For that small amount...the shipping cost is 16.30 for UPS ground?????
Normally CS shipping rates are great but something seems very off here.
I really hope that's a mistake in calculation or I won't be ordering
