  1. I just got my first order from candlesupply and i have to say that I am so impressed with their packaging. I think I will be ordering from them for any glassware from now on. I got 1kg of C3 to try. not bad shipping time too...ordered and deposited the money into bank monday...left them on tuesday delivered today...beats the hell out of waiting 7 days for bulb jars and considering they are frosted (they had no clear left) they are definatly thicker than the acs frosted jars. Am looking forward to playing with C3 on sunday.
  2. NCS have been oos on eco wicks since I started making candles in mid 09...
  3. candle supply is who I was refering to. They have some different glassware and they carry c1, c3 and a votive blend. FO are expensive they are in Sydney KG
  4. Richard and Bart I too am going to try C-3. I spoke to them on the phone and they seem very nice and happy to answer my questions...unlike others who either answer quickly and get me off the phone or are just pretty much rude. Goto love facebook for spreading the word around.
  5. peace and quiet and the time to enjoy that peace and quiet...and to not have to go to the shops again untill after Christmas....its madness out there And a 25kg box of feather palm
  6. I use palm wax for melts and I colour them. The first thing anyone says when they see them is "they are so pretty" or "how do you make them in so many pretty colours" I guess its personal preference but with feather palm it would be a shame not to colour them and to be honest not colouring them has never entered my mind...
  7. How big is your oil burner? I have 2 tealight ones and I get a lighter throw for longer out of my bigger burner as in the flame is futher from the melt bowl and a stronger throw for less time out of my smaller one. I usually get about 18-24 hours out of a melt. I also put mine out every 4 hours. If I power burn (?is that right for a melt...maybe its a power melt lol) them then I will only get about 15 hours in my smaller burner. Cure time is important.
  8. im making melts peppermint eucalyptus, ice capade, jungle love and maybe some florals....its spring goto have florals :smiley2:
  9. Lovespell from ACS is nice I like the one from NCS better. I think palm cures faster than soy I burn my melts the next day but they will last longer if I wait longer to burn them if that makes sense. Kinda out of it just took my son for a driving lesson and im still recovering
  10. I got some white tea and ginger from ACS that makes me want to hurl...stinks like cat pee to my nose nothing like the Bramble Berry one we got from the soap supplier....Mum loves it so I made it into melts holding my breath just to get rid of it and gave them to her. I usually only buy a small 25ml bottle to see if I like it before I commit to a bigger one.
  11. Yep I love palm melts I have not found one fragrance that does not throw and they slide so easily out of the melter after cool
  12. Jonsie so sorry your having this problem. I have not gone near making stuff with EO. Apart from the whole TGA thing, I dont want to deal with the ramifications of someone using something that could harm them eg clary sage when pregnant. I hope you get it worked out. Maybe try the sydney essential oil company. They are pretty expensive but might be more consistant and worth the extra dollars.
  13. I have not had wicking change because of remelting and I have done alot of that lol. Sorry for the mini hijack Jonsie. :embarasse
  14. Mmmm Dragons Blood Chicken or citronella chocolate cake....bleh lol
