  1. Alright, after waiting for a year now..I pretty much have all the materials to start CP Soaping...well, just running into the fact that I am having a hard time trying to find lye.. Off to the classy's for this or if someone can tell me where it can be purchased on line...thank you very much. Right now, hubby is busy making me my wood mold that I will need for this...so here is the big question..I've been searching for the basic recipe..beginner's that is and was wondering if AJ could share that with me.. Once I get it..pretty please... and do go to the calculator, can I run it through you expert cp soaper's and let me know if it's a go or OH NO! Even though I drive to WSP because with shipping..it still was outrageous to me..I only live if anything 35 mins away and still pay the big bucks for shipping so now, when I just need the last min. things..I don't have to worry about my shipping being more than my purchase Thank You WSP
  4. I found the longer it sat, the less bubbly it was....why...that I can't tell you but just by what had happened to me Sorry I couldn't help much more on that one

Denise Now that I look at it, NO!!! ~*laughing I think my fingers slipped or something It's 1/3 C of glycerin Thanks for pointing that out to me... ~*smacks my hands and just laughs And cornstarch...never did try it but I don't see why not sub it for the cream of tart. storm Shooting you a pm with the correction on the glycerin that is liquid and not the soap itself..plus the correction Have a great day!
  6. storm Hello to you This is the recipe that I had used when I tried these out. I also have pics of them in my previous post: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15688 Here's the recipe: 1/3 C cream of tarter 1 C baking soda 1 C slsa 1/13 C glycerin Coloring & FO Mix dry ing. in bowl Add color and scent Mix in glycerin a little at a time Pack tightly in a mold and let sit up to 24 hours Shelf Life 2 months Hope I helped ya!   9. I know with NG's it does get runny after the FO's is put in it. Per 8 oz, I would use no more than 2 drops. HTH some Stephanie

  12. TexasBrat No problem girl! Glad I could help! One scent that alot of my customer's like is Dreama It's unique & is great OOB B&B Excellent Candles: Joywax or MP145. Excellent hot/cold throw! Like I said, you can not go wrong with there oils. Stephanie

Plus, I only live 10 mins from them which is a godsend! *S* moniek: banana nut bread: excellent raspberry zinger: smells just like the real thing pink sugar type: Superb! lick me all over: Nice scent but not overpowering monkey farts: Very fruity throws great in my candles. carrot cake: OOB didn't really care for it so I never have tried it TexasBrat: Monkey Farts: Fruity Banana Kiwi: Awesome Cotton Candy: Awesome Downy Vanilla Lavender: haven't tried yet Jungle Love: I really didn't care for this one OOB. Pomegranate: Haven't tried Watercress & Aloe: Haven't tried Banana: Super Strong! Best smelling banana fo Cappuccino: Haven't tried Doodle Bug : Haven't tried Snozzberry: I haven't tried this one but when I was there last week, OOB you can smell alot of bubblegum fo in it Hope this helps!   17. Elizabeth Thanks for the advice girl! I have never worked with them, have a recipe that I am going to try to do and that is what it calls for. I did find her site. Though I only wanted to order a couple but a min order is of 20.00. Maybe I should try an alternative then.. Thanks again! Stephanie

  21. Whenever I made my fish in a bag soap, I didn't FO mine, I heard from many that it does give a lil cloud to the clear MP. Let me know what turns out for you..would love to hear! Stephanie
