  1. Yeah, That is what Mike told me when he called me back. makes me feel tons better. Thank you for your response!
  2. I ordered some REFINED shea butter from Columbus Foods. This was my first time ever ordering from them. I am very new to bath and body as well. I am supose to be making my sister up some stuff and when I went to open my shea butter is is super grainy!! I am use to very creamy refined shea. Is this the norm for their shea butter?
  3. I add the melted oils when the water is still very hot...I was thinking maybe not enough ewax but I measured out the 1.5oz.
  4. ugh, ok THIRD attempt and I can NOT get this right. I heat my water and then put aside. Heat my oils, butter, stearic and ewax and then mix into the water once it is all melted. then I have been randomly stirring it with a spoon to mix it up. It is just getting all clumpy and like cottage cheese. Am I suppose to just mix it and leave it alone after the first time? Ahhhh, help!

  8. Anyone know where I could get some. I have looked at Natures Garden which is where I usually get my FO and they don't have it
  9. Thanks Guys! I names it this "Coco Vanilla Sugar " and it seems to work great
  10. Ahhhhh, I made this and it looked clumpy like cottage cheese. Anyone know what I could have done wrong?? ETA: I boiled my water and held it at 170 for 20 mins..added my butters, oils, steric and ewax, then added my FO and preserv. once i cooled some. Whipped it to death and then refrigerated and whipped some more.
  11. I made a mix for someone of brown sugar, coconut and vanilla. Anyone have a good name for this?
  12. And the reason I ask is bc I found a shop on ETSY. Her prices for things are quite cheap. Like $1 or less an ounce for things she states are NOT a premade base but HANDMADE. Now, she states she can charge SO little because she takes out the middle man and buys straight from the manufacturer. if I can save that kind of money I want to know how.
  13. Suppose one was going to open a business selling bath and body products. Not out of a home but leasing a building and opening a business. How do you skip the "middle" man suppliers like WSP and go straight through the "big guys"? How to even begin FINDING the "big guys"m that these middle men buy from?Ah, it is mucho confusing.
  14. Anyone know of anyone that sells them? I have someone looking for the "brown sugar" scent they have. THANK YOU!
  15. Which would you consider to be more moisturizing and better for super dry skin? And I am speaking of salt/sugar emulsified scrubs.
  16. I have a special request for some camp fire smoke scented stuff. Anyone know of a supplier that sells something similar to this?
  17. Ok. I know I need vanilla stabilizer in my M&P if I use a vanilla FO but what about in lotions, creams, etc.?
  18. MInd if I ask what EBC is? Is it Elements?
  19. Yeah, I am more into this as a hobby and they want me to purchase 48 damn jars. I DON'T NEED 48:mad:...I am looking for a new supplier as well.
  20. "sigh" you may be right. Off to tweak it. Thank you!
  21. Can anyone help me? I am making a salt scrub with brazilian salts, jojoba oil and sweet almond oil. Would e-wax or stearic acid help the oil from settling to the top?
  22. I am REALLLY hating WSP right now:mad:
  23. Thank you so much! Another question. How do you seal your containers? I was using the press and seal from WSP but seeing as how those may not work with the jars from another supplier, I don't know what to use?
  24. The things I need ( deo. tubes, lids) only come in a set of 48 now!
