    Hello Henhao, I usually use Cotton Cored Wicks they work really good for that size pillar. You can find them at Candlewic.com they are inexpensive and burn really good!     I use a 3 X 6.5 and i usually use about 1 oz also and the scent is perfect and has a great hot and cold throw. You can try using a different scentsi usually get mine from candlewic.com and they are really good! Hope this helps you out! www.royalstarcandles.com
