  1. Place container on a protective plate. Oils will harm wood. Yes, it is another way of saying keep away from porous surfaces...but sometimes you need to make it very clear for some people, KWIM?

Why would you need to stick the reed diffuser bottle on a plate when it is in a glass bottle already. Everyone that I have seen in department stores dont mention that. I cant see the liquid spilling out unless its tipped.

  2. I had the same probelm with the square votive molds that I got from candlewic and peaks. I then got some from connies candles and they slide out a lot easier then the other molds. I usually use a pair of pliers and just pull and they come right out, no problem, but not the other molds, I have to pull, and pull and wait for some air to get in.

  3. Yes......but mine from "Candlewic" came in the two sizes. I ordered 2" and one shipment was 1 3/4". I also know the man who makes the molds. I bought from him also. He has an extrusion company that used to make car parts.....then someone asked them to make the "tubes" into molds. So they started making various shapes and charged a lot more money. He makes them for many many large companies so I wouldn't be surprised if he makes them for CS and Candlewic. Just a bit of trivia (smile).....I am in a holiday mood. Halloween brings it out. Donita

Most of the molds are made by the Moldman. No big secret, Im sure quite a few people know that.

  4. have you tried the letitshine? IGI 6010 Crystalline Wax

they dont have any photos so was curious if this looks like the glass glow one that candlescience has for thier photo?

    TIA

I have and didnt like it as much as the glass glow they carry. They call it by the number there so you may be looking at the wrong one

  5. Actually, I don't believe that's true in every state. If she actually has the fair she can keep the $ - you entered into a contract by applying to the fair and sending in the check. . I'd call it bad business practice to not have a policy though - legal doesn't mean in the right :) Never do a fair without seeing the refund policy in writing.

And not cashing the check for a long while seems typical. I pay for my Labor Day fair in March, and the check is cashed in August.

Actually it is. If there is not policy that can not inforce one when there wasnt one in please. She also stated that she didnt know if it was going to go on so that is another indicator that you can get your money back with problem. YOu can be left in the air wondering if you paid for something is going to happen and you MUST have a poilcy in place in order to inforce it. I just asked one of my directors since I work at a law school.

  6. Yes, you are supposed to put them in the oven. I usually put in as many that can fit and turn it up all the way and leave it there for about a half hour. Make sure you have good ventilation and open some windows because it will smell. That is if you are talking about the paint cans
