Cupid's Bleeding Heart must have taking a lot of time and patience. Great job

It may have overheated. Did you let the lye water cool down before mixingit with the oils? Also if you use a fragrance oil that is not soap safe, it causes reactions as well.

Use stearic acid.

It could be a number of things. If you left your soap uncovered, didnt stir long enough, placed in a cold spot, used too much lye, etc.

Warming your jars before pouring is a good way to prevent this, also leaving the beeswax out will help prevent shrinkage of the wax.

Your Touch soaps look like a nice brick red. are you looking for something different?

Personally I like the Henry Benall Fig type. But I like the more spicey types.
If you like the Pomegranite and the Black Current Cassis, then try Bartlett Pear, White Barn Type and Berry Tangerine Yankee Type

totally cute. love the jar ones

did you cover the top of the mold? Sometimes I know the tops can get a little too hot, which will wrinkle a bit and lighten up the color or cause it to become white.

Personally I would not waste presious emu oil in soap. Soap will destroy the vitamins and healing benefits that you get from the oil. Luxury oils like these are best applied diretly to the skin by themselves or in a lotion, so they stay on the skin and are allowed to absorb fully to do their work.
I would take Van Yulay's advise on the quality of the oil, she makes an AWESOME Emu oil lotion that I just cant duplicate.
