I have made the bath poufs with cotton yarn , they are so heavy wet and take forever to dry . Does anyone else find this ? Maybe I used the wrong pattern . They sure make tons of lather and bubbles .

That is so cute , what a great idea

I use bleach and have the spray bottle of alcohol ready .

I have used the tins for solid lotion and it is fine . I haven't tried butters in them . I hope it works out for you

I have made liquid soap . It turned out rather nice . Much different thanstore bought . Good luck with your liquid soap . Make sure you wear safety goggles and gloves and have a ready supply of fresh water . Not meaning to scare you , it is better to be prepared . Have fun:)

That is beautiful soap , I love it !

The strawberry pop does not morph in gelled strawberries and champagne FO . I have made 2 large batches and they are both good . With the first batch I had a little bit left , put it in a small mold , it didn't gel , it came out of the mold peachy colored.

I can't find the one I was looking for , but this is a good one too .

I have been asked to create an acne soap . I have researched this topic for days and have a page full of "additives" that are said to help with acne . My problem is which ones will work the best ? I don't know anyone with acne that could test for me ( which is the way I prefer to create a recipe) . Does anyone have any tips they could offer me ?
TIA
Kellie

I TOTALLY LOVE THEM ALL!! Especially the 6 color ones. They are SO beautiful!! You are such a talented soap maker
I would sure love to try those shampoo samples! The look so adorable! They would be perfect for people who travel a lot!! You could sell them as Travel Shampoos!
I will send you some samples with your package . Normally they are about 3 or 4 oz and are called solid shampoo bars . Here is a link to one I have tried and loved and why I decided to make them .

I will be making a solid conditioner too ( when my forgotten ingredient gets here from the USA). They are fantastic in every way ,no excess packaging , not full of water , easier on the planet , easy to take on a plane and they sure clean your hair and they last a long time .
Thanks everyone for your kind words

I think the felt ones are adorable and a lot easier to make .
