    Has anyone used it for vinyl lettering? This is reason I have been wanting one.

    not melting them down. I thought that you can make a scoopable "tart" just mix in the fo and add color, put it in a container and add a scoop so you can scoop it up and add as much as you like to your burner.

    maybe I should say wax ganules. Not the little round beads. Im talking about the wax blend you purchase for making tarts and candles.

    Thanks, for the recipe for the crystals. Does anyone cover the top of the jars with something that keeps the crystals in the jar but lets the fragrance out?

    I have 2 questions about the gel crystals. After you have made up your air freshners with the water gel crystal what do you package it in? I only want to make a couple at a time using different fo. What is your measurements for your a smaller recipe?

    I know that I an just imagineing this but the last 2 times I have made a large batch of tarts I get bronchitis. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

    I am just starting to make bath and body products. I have been wanting to start eariler but had too many other things to finish first. I just made some glycerin soap and I would like to polish it to give it a smoother appearence. Do any of you polish or do anything to your soaps before you package them? :smiley2:

    I just made my first batch of lotion. I ordered my base from ky. Somewhere I read you use 1 tsp of fo to 8oz of lotion. It also said that the scent would get stronger for up to 3 days. Please share with me how much fo you use to 8oz of base.

    I just made some m&p glycerin soap and I let it cool for an hour them popped them out of the molds. They seem to be a little sticky and a little soft. Do the m&p soap need to cure before packageing them.

    I have been making tarts in clamshells and I am going to start sell b&b products. How do you display your tarts and b&b products.

    You know I have been a crafter for many many years. I make crafts and mistakes almost everyday. Because of the wealth of information you folks so generously share I have started making my own tarts, room spray and wickless candles. Now I just placed an order from ky for some base lotion and I plan on asking alot of question. To those who roll thier eyes at how "stupid" my questions are going to be, please don't feel the need to judge me or my capabilities. I'm sure I could teach you a few things.

    Thanks ladies, since the fo is a oily substance, when you use the alcohol and water with your fo does it mix or does the oil seperate? Sharon I love your signature comment. We have 9 dogs, 2 Yorkies, a Golden retriever, a toy chiwawa(sp)a cho. Lab, a begal jack russel mix and 3 other pups we got from the pound. Bonnie

    Could you put a rubber band around them or maybe run a piece of clear tap across them?

    Sandy great advice. I also started using a pyrex measureing cup instead of the pour pot and it works much better.

    Since my fo are oil based what do you add to it to make room spray? I use to think I could add something like uncented baby oil but wouldn't that make it leave a oily film on whatever you sprayed it on. Bonnie

    The candy molds hold up well to the heat. I haven't melted one yet.

    I like your store. Are those candle pies in the glass display case. If they are do you make them? I make primitive pantry cakes. They look like a bunt cake and are scented but they are make with flour. They last for years. I use to have a large store in town but I have moved to a MUCH smaller one. I like having the little store, I don't have to have so much product to keep it full. Bonnie

    I use candy molds. I find them everywhere for a dollar or less. Ebay has a nice selection. Bonnie

    I really appreciate you listing your m&p additives but would you please tell me the advantages each of these bring to the soap?
